Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki was an American political advisor who served as the 34th White House press Secretary between 2021 and 2022. She is a member of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009) and the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011), the spokesperson for the US Department of State (2013-15) and as the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki contributed to CNN's political coverage from 2017 through 2020. Psaki started her career in 2001, as an official political contributor for CNN. She worked on the campaign for re-election of Tom Harkin (Iowa Democrats) for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack (Iowa Governor). Psaki was later appointed as the press secretary's deputy in John Kerry's campaign for president in 2004. Psaki was also the director of communications for Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and as the regional press secretary for Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was named press secretary for President Obama's election campaign. [20] Psaki was appointed as spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11 2013. [20] There was speculation that she would succeed Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary, in the Department of State.[21However, Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30, 2014. She was recalled to the White House as Communications Director in 2015 and stayed until the end.
